Description
Service Pack 2 for Payroll 4.40a contains a new 20% PAYE bandwidth effective from the first paydate on or after 7 September 2008, & the Emergency Tax Code will be changing from 543L to 603L. Instructions
- The service pack should be extracted into the Service folder within your Access Payroll 4.40a folder.
- The following file must be moved from the Service folder:
ACCESS.PIC - Place this file into the main folder of your Payroll 4.40a installation, overwriting the existing file, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Access Applications\Payroll\4.40a".
- Launch your Access Payroll 4.40a application and log in as a Master User.
- Follow the prompts, responding Yes/OK to the messages as required.
- Log back in to the Payroll and go to Info >> About Access Payroll and check that the version is now 4.40a.02.
- Go to File >> Utilities Menu >> Utilities >> Reorganise Data & respond OK/Yes to the messages that follow.
- To check that the new PAYE parameters have been created, go to System Control >> Tables >> PAYE. If your system date is earlier than 7 September you will need to select the Next arrow to check that the new tables have been created.
- If you run multiple datafiles you will need to reorganise each additional datafile.
